cPanel

cPanel is a commercial software, web hosting control panel software developed by cPanel, LLC. cPanel allows you to administer the server via a web browser. It is a Linux-based web graphical interface (GUI) used as a control panel to simplify site and server management. cPanel allows you to publish websites, manage domains, organise internet files, create e-mail accounts, and manage accounts. cPanel is one of the most popular control panels found on web hosting. The latest cPanel & WHM version supports installation on CentOS, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), and CloudLinux OS.

cPanel facilitates activities such as creating & copying databases, parking domains, or performing backups (i.e. backups). The administrator portion of cPanel is named Web Host Manager (WHM). WHM allows you to add, delete or change parameters of accounts managed by cPanel. This combination enables users to manage a site and provides hosting providers with server management tools.
